Gardens & Grounds

Here is the draft masterplan for our 3-6 outdoor learning area:

The Gardenmakers Draft Concept

If you would like to provide feedback on the concept, please complete the following survey:

The Gardenmakers – Pennant Hills P.S Design Feedback Survey

This survey is being hosted by The Gardenmakers, with all survey results collated by them and taken into consideration in the final plans.

The school grounds are beautifully and expertly maintained by the school’s general assistant. The P&C’s Gardens and Grounds Committee coordinates work by school families and community members to further enrich the quality of the school’s environment.

The Gardens and Grounds committee organises four major working bees each year, two at K-2 site and two at 3-6, to work on jobs like spreading mulch, trimming trees and shrubs, establishing and planting new garden areas, working on some building or painting projects.

Over recent years one of the major projects has been to renovate the playground area at the K-2 site. This has involved creating tiers which provide informal seating, and large sandpit area for the children to enjoy during play time.
