DESCRIPTION:Calling all Green Thumbs and Garden Warriors! \nSpring has sprung and it’s never been a more perfect time for the Garden Gang to get going! \nIn anticipation of our PHPS centenary year celebrations\, Gardens and Grounds have set ourselves a mission of beautifying our school for forthcoming festivities. \nWe have split the working bees into two shifts: \n\nSaturday\, September 14th – 9am-11:30pm\nSaturday\, September 14th – 1pm-3:30pm\n\nActivities for the day include: \n\nPruning and mulching\nPutting some new plants in\nTidying up around the play equipment area\nGurney sandstone blocks\nScrubbing the metal picnic tables\nAnd of course\, the meditative task of light weeding!\n\nBring the kids along for some fresh air and a productive workout and play😃 \nPlease bring any of the following (if you can): \n\nGarden forks (tall)\, hand forks\, trowels\, buckets or plastic bins (even if they have a hole or two) and wheelbarrows or even a green bin if you live close by.
